What we collect, and why
- Your email address, when you buy a guide or join our mailing list. We use it to deliver your file and, if you have subscribed, to tell you about new releases.
- Order details — what you bought, when, and the amount. We keep these to fulfil the sale and to meet our accounting and tax obligations.
- Basic usage data from your visit, such as pages viewed and approximate location, collected by our website platform so we can run and improve the site.
We do not see or store your card details at any point.
Who processes your data
- Paddle.com — our reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle collects your payment and billing information, calculates tax, and issues receipts. Paddle is a controller in its own right for that transaction and applies its own privacy notice.
- Shopify — hosts this website and stores mailing list subscriptions.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with anyone else except where we are legally required to.
Where your data is processed
We are based in the United States, and our providers may process data in the United States and elsewhere. Where personal data of individuals in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom is transferred, it is covered by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as accounting and tax law requires. Mailing list data is kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may request access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw consent to marketing at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email.
