Digital products are non-refundable once delivered
Cuisine Étoilée sells digital products — downloadable PDF guides. Because these are delivered to you immediately on purchase and cannot be returned, we do not offer refunds or exchanges once delivery has begun.
Your right of withdrawal, and how it is waived
If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance purchase. For digital content supplied immediately, that right does not apply where you have given your express prior consent to immediate delivery and acknowledged that you will lose your right of withdrawal as a result.
At checkout you are asked to give exactly that consent and acknowledgement before payment is taken. By completing your purchase you agree to immediate delivery of the file, and you accept that your right of withdrawal is lost from the moment delivery begins. This is what allows us to operate a no-refund policy on these products.
If you do not wish to waive that right, please do not complete the purchase.
Where something has gone wrong
This policy does not limit your legal rights where a product is faulty, is not as described, or was never delivered. If any of the following applies, contact us and we will put it right:
- Your download link never arrived, or does not work.
- The file is corrupted or will not open.
- You were charged more than once for the same product.
- The purchase was not made by you.
In these cases we will re-deliver the file or, where that is not possible, refund you in full.
Who processes your payment
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles customer service enquiries relating to payment and processes returns in line with its own buyer terms. Paddle may issue a refund at its discretion, including where required by law or by the card networks.
